Hollywood has gradually developed overtime since I was a kid. A few months ago I had seen that part of the Cahuenga Corridor was still under construction. A couple of weeks ago I was shocked to see what was actually being installed into that area.
1520 is a concept brought by Urban Outfitters that allows them to collaborate with creative brands they find inspiring and interesting. It also allows them to become of part of a curated environment by neighboring music, film, and art establishments.
I applaud Urban Outfitters for taking the initiative to build something extraordinary in the Corridor, but I give caution to the people who are thinking of jumping on the band wagon to develop in this area. Don’t repeat what happened on Fairfax or more major criticism is soon to follow.

- Be a Conscious Brand. Look Look Marketing mentioned during a seminar I attended that brands are no longer aspirational but are more conscious. They’re conscious of who their “customer” is and find ways to connect with them. Jumping on a band wagon of trends is not the best tactic to be conscious.
