#crashTED Failed at Crashing #TED

Tonight some of the Long Beach Tweeps tried to crash the TED Block Party that blocked off blocks of downtown Long Beach. Our numerous attempts to @kevinrose to get us in we’re unheard. Not even the man who waved in my Qik video would help us get in either!
The @replies and #crashTED tweets did accomplish this: lots of twitpics, joint effort for #crashTED to hit #1 trend on Twitter Search, and a gathering at Rock Bottom amongst some great Long Beach Tweeples.
