It was a sad morning on Twitter when @TeddRoman tweeted: Farewell to Indie 103.1 THE GREATEST radio station I have EVER had the pleasure of working.  DJ Tedd Roman gave minute by minute tweets about Indie103.1 shutting down and “removing from the broadcast airwaves.”

Tedd Roman gave even more heartfelt tweets like:

Headed to the station now. Hopefully my key card will get me in the building

About to turn the keycard in to HR and grab a final check. FRANTICALLY attempting rips of EVERY possible album in to my computer

and quite possibly the saddest tweet:

Indie 103.1 fans were shocked to hear the news on Twitter and gave their “good luck” wishes to @TeddRoman.  After posting a shared link on Facebook where the tag specifically read:

A friend reminded me it was like Groove Radio all over again.  @TeddRoman said in response to @quarrygirl: not afraid to admit I am mucho teary eyed. For me this is Y107 all over again.
