While on my morning commute in the car listening to the Murdoch hearings, all I hear are gasps followed by me screaming WTF just happened???

Thanks to my Sirius XM radio I was able to tune into CNN’s live broadcast of the Murdoch hearings. As my car was coming to halt in traffic, I heard on the radio gasps and quick break of silence for 5 seconds. I scream at the radio and at the top of my lungs: “what the f$%^k just happened!?!?” for a good 2 minutes. A British CNN news anchor quickly interrupts and is unsure of what has occurred. After some back and forth between commentators, another CNN anchor from the hearing room finally jumps in and tells us that a man in canvas pants and flannel threw foam at Rupert Murdoch. Umm sooo wait, he got a pie in the face?? Is that what you’re telling me CNN?…Wow I didn’t know it was 1926 and we were at the county fair!
Maybe it is 1926 because I caught it on the radio and didn’t watch a live televised or streamed broadcast. Now I know what it was like to hear some possible tragic news over the radio before TVs were invented.
