Many asked the manly Old Spice Guy questions on Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, even 4Chan! But did he respond to you?



For days I spent refreshing Old Spice’s Youtube page minute by minute eagerly waiting for a new response video. I finally tweeted to @OldSpice: “Man your videos are TSFW (Too Safe For Work) & not Websensed. You have distracted me all day w/ your clever responses. Add Puppies to distract me more.” He never responded and was very sad the next day.



I even had @Jonathan360 tweet him: “@OldSpice my girlfriend is obsessed with your videos, should I be worried?” Still no response video even though he has has a strong influence on Twitter!

Many people like me sent their questions and comments in and didn’t get a response. So I’ve come to this conclusion: Old Spice Guy Is Just Not That Into You! Here are some reasons:

Old Spice Guy is Not That Into You Because You’re Popular Enough. It’s about the numbers and I’m not talking about 36-24-26. If you didn’t have a strong influence like Kevin Rose, Ashton Kutcher, Alyssa Milano, or Huffington Post then your odds of getting a response were unlikely.

Old Spice Guy is Not That Into You Because He Doesn’t Find You Interesting. If you read the behind the scenes article that Read Write Web wrote, they had a group of writers on hand at the shoot. If they didn’t find something creative to write around your question or comment then they weren’t going to do a response. Still shocked they didn’t respond to mine. I mean come on PUPPIES!! Girls would totally eat that up!

Old Spice Guy is Not That Into You If He Hits On Your Friends. Two of my very good friends Stefanie Michaels aka Adventuregirl & Jim Alden aka TechFrog each had a response to their questions to Old Spice Guy. Maybe they figured well, we responded to two of your friends so we don’t need to respond to you?





Old Spice Guy is Not That Into You Because He Isn’t Looking for A Commitment. He likes to play the field by answering not just the interesting questions on Twitter, but on questions and comments on Facebook, Youtube, and 4Chan (Let’s face it most of you didn’t know what the hell 4Chan was until now). He’s a playa who’s caught up in the game.

Old Spice Guy is Not That Into You Because Family Comes First. We all thought it was very cool how he made a special shout out to his daughter.

Maybe one day those clever guys behind these videos will make Old Spice Guy Into All of Us and figure out a way to be in a relationship with all of his fans.
