Favtape could possibly be my answer to my lost Muxtape playlist.  The problem with Muxtape is that the site was hosting my songs whereas Favtape is an aggregator that plays songs of your Last.FM or Pandora account so they avoid any rights issues.

Hey, so far they’ve got my vote with cool features like links to music videos and an embed player.  I mean who cares if their site is down and it says, “We are having some problems right now and will be back up and working 100% in 1-3 hours. Don’t worry everything is great!” While at the same time they’re telling me to follow them on Twitter.

• Aggregation Service.  Life is easier when you have a tool that’s your one stop shop.

• Transparency. I liked the fact that they said “Don’t worry everything is great!” because with all the issues that have been going on with the RIAA with Muxtape & Pandora would have a lot of users worried again. So it’s like they’re saying “Please don’t be paranoid, we’re being honest and we’re working on it.”
