“Thanks Niece for sending me the link to the Puppy Cam, I’ve officially become unproductive for the rest of the day.”  A quote from a friend a few minutes after sending the link to the Shiba Inu Puppy Cam.

If these puppies haven’t caught your attention yet, be prepared to be sucked in!  Sometimes they sleep, sometimes they play flight, and sometimes they just want to sleep more as I quote another friend:

Niecee: “Hey the puppies are back on air again! One of them just woke up!”

Friend: “I don’t have time for puppies right now”

Niecee: “Oh never mind, they went back to sleep.  You’re not missing anything.”

You can keep your browser open all day and know that you can alt+tab over to see them anytime. Just make sure you remind yourself that you’re watching the puppy cam because those cute little barks can scare you if you’re not paying attention.

• Long Tail Views. Because they’re streaming live, the owners are getting some great views in a Long Tail manner.  Each time the camera is on, they get hundreds of thousands of views.  So while one video on Youtube may get you a shot at tons of views, a series of videos can get you even more views over time.

• Puppies are the New “Black.” Puppies are cute, adorable, cuddly, and quite possibly one of the most talked about topics right now.  So many people on Twitter are talking about these pups, even if they are sleeping all day.  Between the Puppy Cam, Natalie Portman & Rashida Jones “Speak Out” video, and America’s obsession with the First Puppy; hands down puppies are hotter than when Paris had Tinkerbell.
