CNN is Twitter-AWesome!

I was watching CNN last weekend when Senator Obama picked Senator Biden as his VP. News anchor, Rick Sanchez sat at the news desk with his laptop and started off reading comments. Where were these comments coming from? That’s right Twitter folks!!
If you type in a search for CNN on Twitter, you’ll find about 8 different accounts. One for breaking news, one for their i-Report, and one for Rick Sanchez who out of all the CNN anchors uses Social Media for reporting news and comments from the viewers.
Last night as I was watching the DNC I flipped over to MSNBC and news anchor Chris Matthews asked the viewers to text in for a poll. Maybe that why CNN news anchor Wolf Blitzer, said “CNN was the most watched network for the DNC.” If you’re utilizing the right tools, Blitzer’s statement just might be true!

NIECEE’s TAKE AWAYS:
- Quality of service. Why did CNN do better than CNBC? Because they offered options to their viewers to get them engaged. I follow Rick Sanchez on Twitter and was super excited to see they were following me too. Why? Because now I know they’re seeing what I’m saying. Service I can appreciate than texting.
