At the BlogHer 2008 conference last weekend HP conducted a whole scavenger hunt via Twitter. Throughout the weekend they tweeted clues on where you had to go to get your prizes and enabled their followers to tweet back in order to claim your prize.

• Leverage social networks for team building events. I thought it was pretty creative what HP did using twitter at a conference. I know if I was at that conference I’d be all over that scavenger hunt.

• Have consumers recognize you on the innovative front. HP has prided themselves on being on the creative innovative front. Using twitter at a blogging conference puts HP in a nicely branded position amongst the attendees.
