An event that is held every year today is Go Skateboarding Day that’s done by skate brand Emerica is Wild in the Street that gives skateboarders a voice.

In the past, I’ve helped organized the international Wild in the Streets events and every time a video come back and I watched it, I’d see hundreds to thousands of kids and skateboarders skating down the streets of their city is truly amazing sight.

The very first event was held three years ago in Philadelphia at LOVE park in protest to keep skateboarding in LOVE park and this year it was held in NYC. Each year the massive participants that come out grow even more than the previous year, showing that you can get your point across if you do it in the masses.
