When I came across a clip of Freestyle Canoeing, I thought it was a joke. It’s actually a very real competition.  Upon going to their website I discovered that there are many competitions held in the year across our nation and many of them have themes or concepts behind them.  One man even had a “Phantom of the Opera” theme.

• Don’t Judge. I will admit when I first saw this clip I thought to myself, “People with too much time on their hands.”  I then thought well, maybe the sport is actually something they enjoy and is constructive.  I mean I wouldn’t want people judging me for something they found silly.
