RevolveClothing.com goes Brick & Mortar

RevolveClothing.com went brick & mortar last week by opening up a store on Melrose in LA.  Their inventory is gigantic so it doesn’t surprise me that they would look into other avenues to push sales as well as expand on their branding.  What’s interesting about going brick & mortar is that they took the Big Box retailer e-comm system of purchasing your products online and picking them up in the store.

I’d prefer to drive 10 min to their warehouse in Cypress that to have to drive 30 min to LA to pick up my purchase.

NIECEE’s TAKE AWAYS:

  • Is the ROI there? Umm last time I checked the rent per square foot for in that area of West Hollywood wasn’t cheap.  No one knows the real reason why Revolve ended up setting up shop, but my question is the ROI there? Sure they’re one of the biggest e-comm sites out there, but will the B&M model work for them considering many of their neighbors around them are struggling? Guess it all depends on what their objectives are.
