When I was a kid, I remember my mom making me wear these things that weren’t rain boots, goulashes, or wellies.  They were some rubber thing that went over your shoes when it was raining and kept them dry.  They did not make me a fashionable kid in the 1^st grade! Basically when my parents would drop me off, I’d hide them in my backpack when I got to school and when I would get picked up at the end of the day, I told my mom that they made me walk funny.  Bye Bye weird water shoes!!  Until, one night I was in San Francisco and it was slightly raining and because I had heels on, more than anything I wanted those weird water shoes from when I was a kid.
