Streaming video site Qik, announced today that Blackberry Pearl and Bold users would be able to alpha test Qik for their phones. Unfortunately I am neither of those.

I’m already worked up about the fact that the Storm is only available on Verizon.  Why does Qik have to leave me in the dust too?  The Qik Blackberry application is available for the Blackberry Pearl 8120, Blackberry Pearl 8130, and Blackberry Bold, running Blackberry Operating System 4.5. But wait, maybe there is still hope for me!  NYTimes reported that they are working on an app for the Blackberry Curve and Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220 in the near future. Score!
